GDR Biosimia 2022 Congress

On November 23 and 24, 2022 took place in Bordeaux, the annual congress of GDR Biosimia !

Created in 2016 by the CNRS, the GDR Biosimia has enabled collaborative exchanges of public research laboratories (CNRS, Inserm, CEA, MNHM, universities). It federates researchers from laboratories in different scientific fields that use primates other than humans.

Its work is oriented towards many themes:
– Infectiology, the study of infectious diseases AIDS, Ebola, Covid-19, etc. and their treatments,
– Immunology, the study of the immune system and its diseases,
– Neuroscience, the study of the brain and its diseases.

This congress was an opportunity for several members of the InVest project working on the rhesus macaque model, to follow the latest discoveries in primatology research, but also to have exciting discussions on primatology policy in France.

The members of the InVest project present at this event have volunteered to organize a next edition of the GDR Biosimia in Toulouse in 2024 ! To be continued…
